EVENT INFORMATION

Santa's arrival begins at noon with a Main Street parade featuring marching bands, decorated floats, vintage cars, and colorfully-costumed characters.

The celebration continues until 6 p.m. at Depot Park with a holiday host of activities including FREE snow tubing, inflatables and amusements, kid's crafts, visits with Santa, stage entertainment, and a holiday market full of gift ideas and unique merchandise. Food vendors will be onsite.

A: The parade will begin near the intersection of Park Dr. and Main St., and will proceed south and east down Main St., marching past the judges and making a right onto J.O Stephenson Ave. The parade will take a right onto Dallas St. and at the intersection of Lewis St. the parade will end with walking groups turning right on Lewis St. to head back to the Day with Santa event, marching bands continuing straight on Dallas St., and vehicle entries turning left on Lewis St. to head towards Kennesaw First Baptist Church. The Parade Route is available for you to view.

Q: What streets are affected by the parade?
A: The primary streets affected by the parade route are Park Dr., Main St. from Park Dr. to Summers St. These streets will be closed from 11:45 am to 1:15 pm. Cherokee St. from Big Shanty Rd. to Main St. will also be closed from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

A: Parking is limited in downtown Kennesaw; carpooling is encouraged. Handicap parking is available in the lot at the intersection of North Main St. and Moon Station Rd.

A: Anywhere along Main St. to the intersection of J.O Stephenson Ave., and up to Dallas St. would be the best place to view the parade, as the parade will go pass City Hall.
